Iran increases condensate production in Assaluyeh

The South Pars Gas Complex in Assaluyeh increased condensate production by 23 percent, Fars News Agency quoted Managing Director of South Pars Gas Complex Ali Akbar Shabanpour as saying.

'The South Pars Gas Complex had 23-percent-increase in condensate production in current solar year (started on March 20, 2011)," he said.

The South Pars Gas Complex's propane production increased by 57 percent producing 671,000 tons while butane production reached 35-percent-growth by producing 374,000 tons.

The complex's ethanol production also increased up to 48 percent by 675,000 tons which is a remarkable growth, he said.

Assaluyeh gas processing plants provided 40 percent of the country's gas consumption last solar year (ended March 20, 2011).

About 1.211.000 tons of gas condensate have been exported from Assaluyeh during the first two month of current solar year (started on March 20, 2011)
