Direct flight from Kazakhstan to Vietnam may be opened within the next 2 - 3 year, Ambassador of Vietnam Socialist Republic to Kazakhstan Vu The Hiep said, Kazainform reported.
Tourism is dynamically developing in Vietnam and the country has many sights to show tourists from Kazakhstan, he said.
"Vietnam is a littoral state, and we have many beautiful beaches. The point is that costal territory of Vietnam is more than 3 000 kilometers," Vu The Hiep said.
According the Ambassador's information, around 9 million tourists from all over the world would visit Vietnam this year. 400 people from Kazakhstan are also expected to visit the county.
