Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov approved the procedure of holding the tenders to choose suppliers and contractors, the official Turkmen source said.
A decree was also signed for the budgetary authorities to sign contracts with enterprises and non-state organizations, as well as entrepreneurs only on a competitive basis and transactions exceeding 20,000 manat for the purchase of goods, operations (services).
The documents will serve to improve the order of holding tenders to choose suppliers and contractors, efficient use of budgetary funds while signing the contracts with the budgetary consumers and transactions with enterprises and organizations of non-state ownership, as well as private entrepreneurs to purchase goods and to conduct operations (services).
The Turkmen Ministry of Finance together with the Ministry of Justice ordered to develop and to submit proposals to amend the legislation arising from this decision.
President Berdimuhamedov said that the support for small and medium entrepreneurship is one of the priorities of state policy.
He said that the country takes consistent actions to create favorable conditions for private sector development.
