Azerbaijan announces investment competition to sell brickyard’s shares

The Azerbaijani State Property Committee has announced an investment competition to sell 30.01 percent of shares of JSC "İmisli - Kerpic", the State Property Committee said in its Mulkiyyet official publication on Saturday.

The competition is open to Azerbaijani physical and legal entities and foreign investors. Applicants must submit an investment programme with proposals on resuming the enterprise's activity.

Applicants must also submit a bank guarantee for five per cent of the value of the investment proposal and the proposal to transfer 45,000 manat to the state budget. Applicant must submit a letter of guarantee of any bank for 15,000 manat to ensure seriousness of intention.

The authorized capital of the enterprise is 434,894 manat as of July 1, 2012. Some 217,447 shares with face value of 2 manat each were issued for this amount. The object of the competition is 65,266 shares of the total nominal value of 130,532 manat.

The company has debts amounting to 8,606 manat, including debts for raw materials, services and work amounted to 2,000 manat. Accounts receivables of the enterprise amounted to 999 manat. The enterprise has been operating since 1959.

Applicants can get familiarized with the requirements of the competition, privatization plan and get more information from 10:00 to 17:30 until Aug.28, 2012 at the address: Baku, Str Y.Safarov, 20.

Documents and proposals are accepted from 10:00 to 17:30 until Aug.28.

Proposals will be considered in the building of the State Committee from 15:00 on Aug.30.

The official exchange rate is 0.7856 manat to $1 on July 28.
