The companies involved in the production of building materials in Azerbaijan in 2012 produced goods worth 311.7 million manat, which is 16.9 percent more than in 2011, the State Statistics Committee said today.
According to the information, two million tons of cement (annual growth of 38.9 percent), 149,400 tons of gypsum plaster (growth of 1.5 times), 1.2 million tons of finished concrete mixture (growth of 8.6 percent), 560,200 tons of asphalt (growth of 1.6 times) were produced in 2012.
The stocks of finished construction products worth 11.8 million manat were established at the warehouses of enterprises by Jan. 1, 2013, or 4 percent of the total finished goods at the warehouses of the country.
