Ten privately-owned railway firms in Iran have warned they may stop their trains if an agreement between the state railways company and Raja Transportation Company is not annulled, the Mehr News Agency reported on January 15.
The state-run Iranian Railways Company had signed an agreement with Raja Transportation Company, giving it the right to be the sole issuer of train tickets in the country.
The 10 rail firms have protested against the decision and announced they will stop their trains if the agreement is not annulled.
