Georgia exported 10,670 metric tons of live cattle worth $26.754 million to Azerbaijan in January-October 2014, Georgia's National Statistics Service's report as of ten months says.
The share of this category in the total volume of Georgia's exports to Azerbaijan hit 5.65 percent during the reporting period.
The volume of cattle exports from Georgia to Azerbaijan dropped by 32.31 percent or by 5,380 metric tons (32.08 percent) in January-October 2014 compared to the same period of 2013.
For comparison, some 15,710 metric tons of live cattle worth $39.52 million were exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan in January-October 2013.
Around 19.5 percent of Georgia's exports accounted for Azerbaijan in January-October 2014.
Georgia exported $473.78 million worth of goods to Azerbaijan during this period. The export to Azerbaijan decreased by 18.6 percent compared to the same period of 2013.
For comparison, $582.06 million worth of Georgian goods were exported to Azerbaijan in January-October 2013.
Azerbaijan ranks first among the countries to which Georgia exports its products, followed by Armenia ($248.54 million), Russia ($234.53 million), Turkey ($195.04 million) and the US ($186.53 million).
