Qeshm Voltaj, an Iranian industrial automation manufacturing company is planning to launch an assembly line for Chinese-made industrial automation products.

"The products will include HMI, PLC, VFD, SERVO, etc. for which our company is a sales agent right now," the company's sales director Saideh Mahboubi told Trend June 11 on the sidelines of the Tehran innovation and tech show INOTEX 2015.

Qeshm Voltaj has already held talks with the Chinese company for exporting educational kits related to automation, she said, adding the company has so far exported products to Iraq and Dubai.

She said that the company's export is expected to hit $3 million by the end of the current Iranian year (March 2016).

Mahboubi pointed out that the company started by acting as agency for the German Ziuemens in 2002.

The company is also active in automation-related education. It has made a contract with Chinese company TINCO for exporting educational kits.

According to Mahboubi, after about a decade of education, the company as a pioneer in Iran has obviated the need for Iranians to seek education abroad.
