The total value of exports of cattle in live weight from Georgia to Azerbaijan decreased more than twofold in January-June 2015, the Georgian National Statistics Service's report as of January-June 2015 says.
During this period, the cattle totaling $7.78 million was exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan.
For comparison, Azerbaijan imported cattle in the amount of $17.96 million from Georgia in January-June 2014.
The share of cattle in a total volume of Azerbaijani imports from Georgia amounted to 5.9 percent in January-June 2015.
Azerbaijan imported goods worth $130.77 million from Georgia in January-June 2015, which is twofold less than in the same period of 2014. Azerbaijan is the leader in terms of the goods imported from Georgia with a share of 12.1 percent.
Turkey ranks second on this index - $109.35 million (10.1 percent of a total export volume), Bulgaria ranks third ($101.72 million or 9.4 percent of a total export volume of Georgia during the reporting period).
Georgia mainly exports cars, cattle, cement, steel reinforcement and other items to Azerbaijan.
