Kazakh energy operator’s profit reduced

The profit of Kazakh Samruk-Energy JSC decreased to 15.129 billion tenge (279.21 tenge = $ 1) in January-September 2015, the Kazakh Stock Exchange KASE said.

The company's profit reached 15.633 billion tenge in January-September 2014.

The company's operating profit decreased from 14.863 billion tenge to 11.369 billion tenge in January-September 2014.

Samruk-Energy's proceeds reached 14.855 billion tenge (compared to 18.159 billion tenge in the same period of 2014).

The company's assets increased from 613.395 billion tenge to 660.576 billion tenge for the first nine months.

The company's obligations amounted to 302.981 billion tenge at the end of the reporting period (compared to 236.177 billion tenge at the beginning of the period).

The company's capital reduced up to 357.595 billion tenge as of late September (from 377.218 billion as of early 2015).

Samruk-Energy's main task is to form the high-effective power system ensuring the sustainable development of all sectors of Kazakhstan. Some 100 percent of Samruk-Energy's shares are state owned through the Samruk-Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund.
