According to the newspaper, the opening ceremony of the port is scheduled for May 13, 2016.

"The Dubai Port construction project costs $600 million," the newspaper wrote.

According to the newspaper, DP World, one of the world's largest port operators, will manage Dubai Port.

Ten large container ports are currently operating in Turkey.

Moreover, Petlim container port will be put into operation in Turkey in September.

Turkey's Petkim petrochemical complex and APM Terminals, Dutch company, inked an agreement for the construction of Petlim container port with a capacity of 1.5 million TEU in March 2013. The new port's capacity will exceed the capacity of the Alsancak port by about 50 percent.
