The US Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) can take part in the financing of investment projects being implemented in Uzbekistan by US companies.
This was discussed during a meeting in Washington by First Deputy Chairman of the Uzbek State Committee for Investments Laziz Kudratov and OPIC Vice President for Structured Finance and Insurance (SFI) Tracey Webb.
According to a message from the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, Kudratov noted that the government of Uzbekistan is ready to support the leading US companies with advanced technologies in implementing projects for production of a wide range of engineering, pharmaceutical, electronic, power industry, and food products.
