Chinese company to build major complex in Kazakhstan

Chinese company Tielin Logistics Co will build in North Kazakhstan region a large complex with a number of production lines starting from pesticides to electric vehicles, with its own railway and power plant, the press service of North Kazakhstan's authorities reported.

Region's governor Kumar Aksakalov said that 80 billion tenge of investments will be invested in the construction of the complex.

Aksakalov further noted that the region should use its convenient geographical location for the implementation of this project.

"Chinese colleagues are ready to invest a lot of money in realization of this project. The first tranche of money has already been received. The trip to China in November 2017 gave a big impetus to the implementation of this project. There will be invested up to 80 billion tenge of investment. Some products will be exported to China and other countries," he said.

Tielin Logistics Co plans to create several productions here, including plants for the production of pesticides, bactericides, herbicides and production of bearings. The company also plans to create an electric vehicle production line, production of cellulose, build compound feed plant a and wheat processing plant.

Also, the investor will build a railway with a length of four kilometers and a power station.
