The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan will implement a single agricultural tax, said the First Vice-Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan Arman Yevniev during the meeting in the Parliament on priority directions of development of the agro-industrial complex (AIC) for 2017-2021.
"With regard to improving the taxation of agricultural producers, the ministry will conduct work on implementation of a single agricultural tax (UST) on a business proposal. Such taxation regime will simplify complex tax accounting for commodity producers and lead to reduction in additional penalties from the tax authorities," said Evniev, Kazakh media reported.
He added that this amendment will allow agricultural producers to cope with tax accounting without an accountant.
"Everything should be simple, so that any commodity producer could cope with this without the help of an accountant. We also face obstacles with taxation of agricultural cooperatives, including taxation of internal transactions and we work on elimination of this problem" Evniev added.
