Baku, Azerbaijan, April 17
By Ali Mustafayev – Trend:
Opening of a cryptocurrency exchange in Kazakhstan will attract additional investments in the country's crypto industry, further increasing the portfolio of large, small and medium-sized businesses, President of the DIGITAL NETWORK Association of Digital Technologies and Crypto Industry Olzhas Murtazin told Trend.
"Increasing the capital, the business community directs funds to increase its own business, thereby influencing the economy of Kazakhstan, including the financial sector. We also develop a loyalty program for Kazakh entrepreneurs to participate in Kazakhstan’s first cryptoexchange operations. We support local entrepreneurs, providing them with necessary conditions to develop and improve the financial component of Kazakhstan's economy," Murtazin said.
He also stressed the possibility of creating Kazakhstan's own cryptocurrency in the future, noting that the association "is working on it," but the final word on this issue will still be with the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
Previously, Murtazin said that DIGITAL NETWORK will participate in the opening of the first Kazakh cryptocurrency bourse and the first legal cryptoexchanger of Kazakhstan in 2018.
He added that the association intends to cooperate with Kazakhstan’s small and large businesses for implementation of blockchain technology, as well as with the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs for education programs in the sphere of the crypto industry.
The association will also discuss the taxation of the crypto industry with the Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov and further meet with the Chairman of the Atameken Chamber of Commerce Timur Kulibayev to discuss the future of the crypto industry in Kazakhstan.
