Italian investors plan to start production of medical equipment and inventory, as well as pharmaceutical products in the Syrdarya Free Economic Zone (FEZ) in Uzbekistan, the National News Agency of Uzbekistan reported.
According to the information, the delegation headed by President of the Italy-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce Luigi Iperti visited the Syrdarya region.
Iperti noted that the purpose of the visit of representatives of Italian companies to the Syrdarya region is to establish cooperation in the trade and economic spheres and to attract investments in the region.
Also, a branch of the clinic of the Italian University Humanitas is planned to be organized in the region.
The delegation from Italy got acquainted with activities of the new private medical center Oltin Vodiy [Golden Valley] in Gulistan and the Syrdarya FEZ.
