The average US dollar rate in the morning session of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) on Oct. 19 amounted to 366.59 tenge, Kazakh media reported.
Thus, the national currency of Kazakhstan has depreciated by 2.94 tenge against the US dollar compared to the morning session yesterday (363.65 tenge per US dollar).
According to KASE, at the auction of the US dollar in the morning session, the minimum rate was 365.80 tenge per US dollar and the maximum rate was 367.50 tenge per US dollar, while the closing rate was 366.90 tenge per US dollar.
Meanwhile, the official rate by the National Bank of Kazakhstan on Oct. 19 is 364.35 tenge per US dollar. In the exchange offices of Astana and Almaty, the maximum selling rate of the US currency is 369 tenge.
