A delegation of the textile industry of Uzbekistan led by O’zto’qimachiliksanoat, an Uzbek textile industry association, will take part in the 5th All-Russian Forum of Light Industry in Ivanovo, Russia, on Nov. 29-30, the press service of O'zto'qimachiliksanoat reported.
Delegates from Uzbekistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Malaysia and Japan will participate in the forum in Ivanovo. The event will be attended by over 500 delegates from the textile industry. Leading textile and sewing enterprises of the Ivanovo region will also take part in the forum.
The delegation of Uzbekistan will include representatives of companies such as Urgench Group, Shashmakashob, Mo’min Textil, VodiySanoatFaxri, Khorazmtex, Madaniyat Tex, Bo’stonlik Plasteks, Bulut Tex, and others.
A round table meeting, titled “Textile Industry Expands the Boundaries of Cooperation with Uzbekistan”, will be held on the first day of the forum.
During a visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Uzbekistan on Oct. 18, the "Uzbekistan-Russia: Textile Cooperation without Borders" forum was held in the Uzexpocenter with the participation of a delegation from the Ivanovo region.
