Karmen LLC, a plant for the manufacture of flour products located in Baku, plans to export pasta to the Central Asian market, Ilgar Ahmadov, marketing director of the company, told Trend.

He said that in this regard, negotiations are underway with potential partners in Central Asia.

“We plan to sign export agreements with our partners in Central Asia,” he noted. “We believe that in the coming months we will establish a new export direction. Georgia is our main export market. We work on the basis of orders, and the production capacity of the plant makes it possible to fully ensure supplies to the external market.”

He added that the last export volume to Georgia amounted to 40 tons of pasta.

The director noted that if necessary, the plant can increase the volume of exports by two or more times.

The manufactured products have a certificate of conformity issued by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan.

The plant uses equipment of German, Turkish and Swedish production.
