In January-May 2019, the volume of goods and services produced by the Baku industry amounted to 16.6 billion manats, Trend reports with reference to the report of the Baku City Statistical Office.
In January-April 2019, this figure was 13 billion manats.
The reports states that 81.8 percent of industrial production fell to the mining industry, 16.1 percent - to the processing sector, 1.5 percent - to electricity production, and 0.6 percent - to the waste cleaning and recycling sector.
As noted, the share of the non-state sector in the industry amounted to 84.1 percent; industrial production in the total volume of production reached 88.7 percent and the share of industrial services amounted for 11.3 percent.
"Taking into account the reserves created in previous periods, most of the products were sent to consumers. As of June 1, 2019, stocks of finished products in the warehouses of industrial enterprises valued at 247,1 million manats", reads the message.
The report underlined that other products in the amount of 43,8 million manats, that were purchased from other enterprises and intended for sale are also available in the warehouses of industrial enterprises.
