The Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade announced that in October 2019, prices for nine items of the basic goods dropped between 0.1 to 3.8 percent compared to September last year.

According to the statistics published by the ministry, the products include Thai rice, Iranian rice, sugar, poultry meat and fresh lamb, Trend reports citing IRNA.

After the US withdrew from the Iran nuclear deal, the country has been suffering an economic crisis.
