Volume of diary product exports via customs of Iran’s Mazandaran province revealed

During 11 months of the current year (March 21, 2019 - February 19, 2020), over 129,000 tons of dairy and dairy products were exported through the customs of Mazandaran Province in northern Iran, Trend citing Islamic Republic of Iran’s Customs Administration (IRICA).

According to the Iranian Customs Administration, more than $106 million worth of dairy products have been exported through the customs of Nashahr, Amol and Sari.

The products are mainly exported to India, Iraq, Russia, Afghanistan, Pakistan and the UAE.

During the first 11 months, Iran exported 410,000 tons of milk and dairy products worth $458 million.

Mazandaran customs hold the first place among 74 operating Iranian companies in the area of dairy products export.
