Uzbekistan launches new knitting enterprise

A new knitting enterprise, launched by Oltin Mato Teks LLC, has started operating in Andijan region of Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing the Uzbekistan National News Agency.

The knitting enterprise has capacities for annual production of four million units of knitted products and dyeing 4,000 tons of textile. The enterprise covers an area of 1.8 hectares.

To implement the project worth $8.7 million, a loan of $5.5 million was received from Ipoteka Bank, a joint stock commercial mortgage bank. Modern equipment and advanced technologies from Europe was purchased.

"The company, which specializes in textile dyeing and knitwear production, has the opportunity to export products worth $4 million a year," says Kodirjon Mamatov, General Director of Oltin Mato Teks LLC.

As Mamatov said, enterprise have all conditions for the production of quality products that fully meet international requirements and effective work of specialists.

The new Andijan knitting enterprise has jobs for 250 people.

Open Company Oltin Mato Teks LLC organizes the enterprise on manufacture of ready clothes, knitted products and yarns with use of the equipment from Japan, Belgium and Turkey.
