Turkmenistan has started to modernize its trade sector, Trend reports with reference to Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.
The modernization will be carried out until 2025. New methods are being introduced in the activities of stores, shopping centers, organization of public catering and consumer services.
The government notes the importance of private sector’s production. Small enterprises contribute to increasing Turkmenistan’s innovation activity. Small businesses are the first to start selling new, innovative products, whose production volumes are not yet sufficient for distribution through large trading networks.
The active development of the production sector, innovation activities of companies and enterprises are envisaged. Small and medium-sized businesses have become a reference point for the development of Turkmenistan’s trade sector.
By increasing the range of local raw materials, export-oriented products have increased in Turkmenistan.
Special attention was given to both the development of existing laws and the creation of new ones. These laws stimulate the investment activity of commercial enterprises, and create the most favorable conditions for the development of trade.
The president of Turkmenistan has highlighted the need to establish effective trade relations between the Caspian region and foreign markets.
