From January through May 2020, exports from Georgia to Switzerland excluding re-export amounted to $894 million, which is 4 percent less than in the same period last year, Trend reports citing Georgian National Statistics Service (Geostat).
The list of exported TOP-5 products from Georgia to Switzerland is as follows:
1. Gold raw or semi-finished or in powder form - $35.2 million, 1 ton;
2. Perfumes and eau de toilette - $282,600, 3.2 tons;
3. Cosmetics and skin care products - $166,500, 1.9 tons;
4. Oil and oil products - $156,600, 462.1 tons;
5. Natural grape wines - $34,800, 3,463 liters;
Export of the remaining local goods from Georgia to Switzerland amounted to $9,300.
As for exporters, the following companies exported goods from Georgia to Switzerland during this period: Prestige Ltd; Iveria Frances Ltd; RMG Gold Ltd; Kindzmarauli Corporation JSC; Teleda, LLC; LLC Vineyards of Tsinandali; Academy Ltd Group; Gold Group Ltd; Econia Pilot LLC; IRRICULT GE Ltd.
