Georgian Global Autoimport company had diversified its markets, said Vano Bichinashvili, the founder of Global Autoimport, Trend reports via Georgian media.

According to Bichinashvili, despite the decline in car imports over the past 10 months, the trend is now better.

"Auto market was primarily affected by the pandemic. Restrictions on the Armenian market also had an impact. Armenia was the largest market for us, but we can no longer go there today, which of course had a bad effect on the company. Our company had a 40-50 percent decrease in imports over the past 10 months, although, despite the decrease, the trend is getting better today. If we look at alternative markets besides Armenia, the market of Azerbaijan works very well and during the pandemic, we entered the markets of Ukraine and Poland," he said.

According to him, the Armenian market was replaced by these markets, and a balance was kept.

"There are great prospects for Azerbaijan in the future as well. Positive changes are noted recently, including vaccine release. Our expectations are also optimistic," Bichinashvili said.
