Kazakhstan restoring crude petroleum exports to Czech Republic

Kazakhstan has exported 69,003 tons of crude petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals worth 18.7 million euros to Czech Republic in October 2020, a Eurostat official told Trend.

In turn, Kazakhstan exported 413,119 tons of petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals worth 178.3 million euros to Czech Republic over the period from Jan. through Oct. 2020.

Kazakhstan was not exporting crude petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals to Czech Republic over the period from April 2020 through August 2020.

Thus, the October volume of petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals from Kazakhstan to Czech Republic is 7.4 times more compared to September 2020 (911 tons) and is 94.9 percent less than in Jan. 2020 (135,924 tons).

October’s exports are also 6.2 times more than September 2020 (2.5 million euros) and are 71.09 percent less than in Jan. 2020 (64.7 million euros).

The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Czech Republic amounted to $249.1 million over the first nine months of 2020, compared to $266.3 million during the same period of 2019.

Kazakhstan’s export to Czech Republic amounted to $53.9 million over the period from January through Sept. 2020, compared to $56.5 million during the same period of 2019.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s imports from Czech Republic amounted to nearly $195.2 million over the reporting period, compared to $209.8 million during the same period of 2019.
