Kazakhstan increases manufacturing of precious metals on Feb. 2021

The physical volume of output in Kazakhstan’s non-ferrous metallurgy increased by 5.4 percent in February 2021, Trend reports citing Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development.

Thus, the production of gold bullions increased by 45 percent in February 2021, whereas production of silver in granules went up by 10 percent.

Manufacturing of refined copper increased by 7 percent, of refined gold by 42 percent, of refined silver by 60 percent, of cathode copper by 45 percent.

Manufacturing of non-processed and semi-processed silver in Kazakhstan has amounted to 93,696 kg over Jan. 2021, which is 74.2 percent more than during the same month of 2020.

Manufacturing of non-processed and semi-processed gold increased by 23.2 percent during the reporting month, having amounted to 9,707 kg (7,882 kg in Jan. 2020).

As reported, the manufacturing of non-processed non-alloyed refined copper amounted to 40,952 tons, which is 0.7 percent less than during the same period of 2020 (41,252 tons in Jan. 2020).

Manufacturing of other non-ferrous metals and products from them amounted to 1,645 tons, which is 63.2 percent less than during the same period of 2020 (4,471 tons in Jan. 2020).
