The value of gold exports from Azerbaijan amounted to $43.2 million from January through March 2021, which is 19 percent more compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports citing the monthly ‘Export Review’ of the Azerbaijani Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
In March 2021, Azerbaijan exported gold worth $8.8 million, which is 2.2 percent more compared to March 2020, the CAERC report said.
As reported, the total volume of Azerbaijan's exports in the reporting period amounted to $4.1 billion, including oil exports worth $501.5 million.
In the first quarter of 2021, the export volume of leading state-owned companies in the non-oil sector amounted to $208.6 million, having almost doubled on annual basis.
