In total, enterprises of chemical industry of Uzbekistan manufactured products worth $1.4 million in January-July 2021, Trend reports with reference to Uzbekistan's State Statistics Committee.
The index of the physical volume compared to January-July 2020 amounted to 106.5 percent.
In particular: superphosphate production - increased by 3.2 times; formaldehyde production - increased by 2 times; urea production - increased by 35.6 percent.
Moreover, paints and varnishes based on acrylic and vinyl polymers and production in the aquatic environment increased by 15.1 percent;
Production of disodium carbonate (soda ash) increased by 2 times.
The largest share in the total volume of products manufactured by chemical enterprises in Uzbekistan fell on Karakalpakstan (36.2 percent), Navoi region (14.6 percent), Kashkadarya region (14.5 percent) and Tashkent region (14.1 percent).
For seven months of 2021, 693 industrial enterprises of Uzbekistan, manufactured goods for the production of electrical equipment worth $428.5 million. The index of the physical volume of the network in comparison with January-June 2020 amounted to 107.2 percent.
The largest share in the total volume of products manufactured by industrial enterprises for the production of electrical equipment at the country level fell on the city of Tashkent - 66.9 percent (275 enterprises), Tashkent region - 12.2 percent (111 units) and Andijan region - 6.3percent (46 units).
Furthermore, according to the Committee, in January - July 2021, the number of newly created business entities (excluding farms) amounted to 59,875, of which 59,700 were small businesses.
