Iran Khodro Company (IKCO) has managed to considerably increase its daily production, Trend reports citing IRNA.
The CEO of Iran Khodro Industrial Group Company Farshad Moghimi announced that the daily output of Iran Khodro will reach more than 2,500 vehicles, which is 20 percent higher than the same period last year.
According to the plan announced by the Minister of Industry, from next week, the daily production will exceed 2,500 vehicles.
Three major Iranian carmakers, namely Iran Khodro Company (IKCO), SAIPA Group, and Pars Khodro, manufactured 118,546 vehicles during the first two months of the current Iranian calendar year (started on March 21), the data released by the Codal website showed.
According to the data, the production has increased by 1.1 percent compared to the last year in which the output stood at 117,257 vehicles.
