Car manufacturing of Iran’s Saipa Group increased by 6.62 percent, during the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (from March 21, 2021 through January 20, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, reads the report of information service (codal.ir) under the Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran, Trend reports.
According to the report, the Saipa manufactured a total of 279,055 passenger cars in 10 months.
Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, the figure stood at 261,728.
So, the company manufactured 238,588 units of Tiba, 20,379 units of “Saipa 151” and 18,315 units of Shahin and 130 units of Ario cars over 10 months.
“Meanwhile, in the 10th month of the current Iranian year (December 22, 2021 through January 20, 2022), the company manufactured 25,470 passenger cars,” the report said.
Three giant Iranian automakers (Iran Khodro, Saipa, and Pars Khodro) manufactured 760,527 cars in the first 10 months of the current Iranian year, which is an increase of 4.11 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year.
So, these companies had manufactured about 730,477 passenger cars in the same period last Iranian year.
