Turkmen enterprise targets to expand into foreign markets

BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 17

By Amina Nazarli - Trend:

Turkmenistan’s Bagtyýar gurluşyk enterprise in the Ahal region has exported about 600 tons of polypropylene yarn abroad since its foundation in 2020, Trend reports via Turkmen media.

With a daily capacity of 22 tons of high-quality polypropylene yarn, the enterprise exported its products to Turkey, Russia, and Uzbekistan.

Its yarns come in white, black, red, green, blue, and gray colors.

The company was able to enter the international market in a short time, as the company’s products fully comply with high international standards.

The Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries and the Kiyanly polymer plant supply the company with raw materials for the production of polypropylene threads.

Carpet and rug weaving make extensive use of polypropylene yarns. Carpets woven with these threads are durable, strong, and environmentally friendly, and they retain their shapes and colors for a long time.

More Turkmen companies are working to bring their products to foreign markets.

Turkmenistan has taken a number of steps in recent years to increase its export potential. The country’s exports have increased by 29.1 percent during the period of January through October 2021 compared to the same period of 2020.

The central Asian country currently maintains trade and economic relations with more than 80 states.
