TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, May 1. The Aluminum Association of Russia and the Association of Electrical Industry Enterprises of Uzbekistan (Uzeltekhsanoat) signed a Memorandum of Understanding for mutually beneficial cooperation in the aluminum electrical industry, Trend reports.
According to the Aluminum Association of Russia, the agreement will allow expanding production and sci-tech ties between the companies of the two countries, including the introduction of innovative aluminum solutions in the modernization and development of Uzbekistan's energy infrastructure.
The parties agreed to cooperate in the implementation of joint projects and the exchange of experience between industry enterprises through visits to production and sci-tech sites.
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan plans to produce household appliances and aluminum radiator heaters in Azerbaijan.
The Uzbek side presented information on parameters and technical and economic indicators related to the projects to the representatives of Azerbaijan.
The sides also plan to develop a bilateral roadmap to accelerate the implementation of the projects. According to the roadmap, the projects will be implemented in stages.
