BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 18. Iran imported a total of 377 tons of goods worth $9,296,718 from Azerbaijan through the Tehran customs in the country’s capital, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), according to the official statistics of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), obtained by Trend.
The main exported goods through Tehran customs for the reporting period were spare parts for buses, minibusses, truck engines, spare parts for traffic lights, automatic transmission for cars, raw silk, ABS brake system, etc.
In total, Iran's trade turnover with Azerbaijan for the last Iranian year amounted to about 852,000 tons worth about $608 million.
The trade turnover between the two countries increased by 93 percent in value compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021).
