BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 4. Iran's agricultural and food exports decreased by 15 percent in value and 4 percent in volume, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021), as was reflected in the statistics of Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI), Trend reports.
According to the report, Iran's export of agricultural and food products for the last Iranian year amounted to 8.5 million tons worth $5.26 billion.
Meanwhile, in the preceding Iranian year, Iran had exported a total of 8.83 million tons of agricultural and food products worth $6.17 billion.
In total, Iran's non-oil exports for the last Iranian year amounted to 122 million tons worth $48 billion.
