BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 28. The exports through the customs of the Semnan Province (northern Iran) increased by 38 percent both in terms of value and volume, during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through June 21, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Director General of the Semnan Province Customs Office Ali Sadaddin told Mehr News Agency, Trend reports.
According to Sadaddin, a total of 57,000 tons of goods worth $25.5 million were exported from the province in 3 months.
“The province's goods have been exported to 25 countries. At the same time, efforts are being made to expand export destinations,” he added.
The director general noted that the exported goods were mainly hydrocarbon products, construction materials, ceramics, cement, washing powder and etc.
