BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 8. Iran’s imports, exports of agricultural and food products amounted to 7.7 million tons worth $4.6 billion, during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through June 21, 2022), as was reflected in the report of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines & Agriculture (ICCIMA), Trend reports.
About 2.2 million tons worth $1.1 billion are related to Iran's exports, while about 5.5 million tons worth $3.5 billion - Iran's imports.
TOP 5 destinations of Iran's agricultural, food products exports (3 months):
Iraq - 1.04 million tons worth $412 million
The UAE - 305,000 tons worth $129 million
Afghanistan - 152,000 tons worth $89 million
Pakistan - 81,000 tons worth $75 million
Russia - 171,000 tons worth $74 million
The main agricultural and food products exported by Iran are watermelons, tomatoes, dry milk, pistachios, and apples.

The UAE - 1.95 million tons worth $1.03 billion
Türkiye - 470,000 tons worth $416 million
India - 269,000 tons worth $300 million
The UK- 507,000 tons worth $239 million
Russia - 493,000 tons worth $223 million
Iran mainly imported corn feed, wheat, rice, soybeans and vegetable oil within the mentioned period.
