BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 31. Iran's exports of non-oil products increased by 18 percent in value and 11 percent in volume in the 5th month of the current Iranian year (July 23 through August 22, 2022), compared to the same month last Iranian year, the Spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Rouhollah Latifi said, Trend reports citing the administration.

The spokesman noted that Iran exported a total of 8.42 million tons of non-oil products worth about $3.65 billion in the 5th month.

“Within the 5th month, Iran exported 2.26 million tons of non-oil products worth $1.1 billion to China, 1.72 million tons worth $563 million to Iraq, and 1.05 million tons worth $517 million to the UAE,” Latifi added.

In general, Iran's non-oil trade turnover for the 5th month amounted to 11.3 million tons worth over $8.1 billion, which is an increase of 25.4 percent in value and 10.6 percent in volume compared to the same month of last Iranian year, the customs official said.
