BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 27. The Belarusian "Asoba" insurance company intends to enter the Azerbaijani market, the company's general director Vladimir Korobushkin told Trend.

"We are actively seeking partners, including in Azerbaijan, which is why we are participating in this forum. Changes in logistical flows have heightened our interest in the region. We aim to find a partner who could represent our interests and assist in resolving arising issues in Azerbaijan.

In return, we are ready to provide similar support to the clients of this partner in Belarus, offering free assistance in settling insurance claims, including evacuation if necessary. Recently, we have visited Kazakhstan and are also searching for partners in Uzbekistan.

Logistic flows from Belarus are now increasingly directed towards China, Türkiye, and Azerbaijan. Therefore, it's especially important for us to find a reliable partner for mutually beneficial cooperation," he said.

To note, the "Belkoopstrakh" limited liability insurance company (LLIC) was established in August 1992. The LLIC participants were the Belarusian Republican Union of Consumer Societies and regional consumer society unions, and on July 27, 2020, the general meeting of the society's participants decided to change the company's name from "Belkoopstrakh" LLIC to "Asoba" LLIC.
