The working group on the regional development of the Entrepreneurship Board under the President of Azerbaijan plans to resume the practice of the regional surveys. Such practice is planned to resume in the current November, head of the working group Natik Shirinzade told Trend exclusively.
For the moment we expect completion of the parliamentary elections, after which we will hold the first meeting with the entrepreneurs of the regions. As for the surveyss, this time we want to hold them more professionally.
In this regard we plan to select a special sociological group, which will be engaged in holding such a poll at our order”, Shirinzade noted.
For the first time the working group on the regional development presented the results of the business survey in the country’s regions on 17 May 2005. 200 entrepreneurs of all economic areas of Azerbaijan were polled then.
During the poll it was revealed, main common problems for the most regions are the communal matters, insufficient development of the road infrastructure, problems in receiving bank credits, monopolization of the market, problems with the sanitation and epidemiology services.
In Gyanja вЂ"Gazakh region there are problems with the tax and customs services. Along with this, there are problems with the issues related to registration, the attitude of the executive authorities, injustice of the court bodies, problems with the application of the legislation on protection of entrepreneurs.
