Delegation of SCC participates in global congress on struggle with piracy & forgery

The delegation of the State Customs Committee (SCC) led by Kamalladin Heydarov, the chairman of the committee, participates in the 2nd global congress on struggle with piracy and forgery, which started in Lyons, France, on 14 November, Trend reports referring to the press release spread by the SCC on Monday.

The event was organized by the World Customs Organization and Interpol with participation of the World Organization of Intellectual Property, leading international nongovernmental organizations, the Alliance of Heads of Global Trade on Struggle with Forgery, the Association of International Brands and the Association of International Safety Department.

The main topics discussed at the congress are struggle with piracy and forgery, violation of author's rights, as well as struggle with forgery of different trade marks.

Directions of the further activities will be determined in the final report.

The event will be over on 15 November.
