“The Azerbaijani Transport Ministry receives 70bn manats within the President’s decree on additional measures related to construction and repair of the local highways, as well as social-economic development of the regions,” Ziya Mammadov, the Azerbaijani Transport Minister, told Trend.
According to Mammadov, the Ministry is involved in delivery of necessary technique to the country. “The technique will be distributed to the regional road departments. We will restore the roads in the regions and the villages through the technique,” the Minister noted.
Azerbaijan takes large-scale measures aimed at speed-up development of the country, including restoration, renewal and development of road infrastructure.
The state of the highways does not meet dynamic economic growth and the requirement of the population due to lack of technique and other property.
