Session of ministers of transport is held April 24 to 26 in Tehran within Economic Cooperation Organization (ЕСО). Ziya Mamedov, minister of transport of Azerbaijan, is expected to participate at the session, officials of the ministry of Transport told Trend.
In the course of the meeting the issues of transport relationships development among the countries and execution of international projects are scheduled for discussion. In particular, the matter of North-South transport corridor is planned to discuss at the session.
Azerbaijan, Russia and Iran have established a railroad consortium to execute the railroad communication project within the framework of North-South transport corridor. This project is being executed at the moment.
