Korean companies have been invited to participate in projects on producing refrigerators, air conditioners, and other domestic electric appliances in Azerbaijan, Natig Aliyev, Azerbaijan`s Industry and Energy Minister told today, Trend reports.
During the recent visit of the Azerbaijani Minister to Korea, meetings with representatives of LG Electronics, Daewoo, and other Korean companies engaging in producing home appliances were held.
According to Mr. Aliyev, the possibility of a participation of Korean companies in the chemical industry of Azerbaijan was discussed as well.
The Minister pointed out that Azerbaijan and Korea has a joint commission. A working group has been built up on the basis of the joint group. It is aimed on solving issues in all directions of cooperation between the two countries.
