In January 2009, 489,000 cubic meters of gas was supplied to the Azerigaz closed joint-stock company compared to roughly 517,000 cubic meters in January 2008. Azerigaz is engaged in distributing gas over Azerbaijan, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (Socar) said in a message.
Over 5.8 billion cubic meters of gas was supplied to the Azerigaz in 2008 compared to over 5.7 billion cubic meters in 2007.
