SOCAR's (the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) exploring geophysics department launched processing and interpretation of data as a result of 2D geophysical research in onshore plots Lokbatan-Puta-Gushhana, the department said.
The department positively appreciated results of 2D geophysics.
2D research was completed on June 18, SOCAR's source close to operations said.
Major goal of 2D seismic factor is to specify tectonic form of productive layer and precipitations under layer. Operations on processing and interpretation of data are planned t complete in October-December. Research was launched at these sections in April. Research was conducted by methods of total depth point and turning wave.
PU Azneft entering SOCAR is customer of operations at these plots.
