In February, a 400-megawatt cascade of Mingachevir hydroelectric power station, which has no analogue in the Caucasus, has generated more than 135.8 million kilowatt-hours of electricity or 0.6 percent more than planned, Azerenergy JSC (production and distribution of electricity in Azerbaijan) said today.
Mingachevir and Varvara hydroelectric station are included in the structure of the cascade. At present, three hydraulic units have been stopped to conduct reconstruction operations at both stations. The remaining units are working in normal mode.
