Petrol prices: Euro-Super-95 in 27 EU countries (May 24-31)

The average price on Euro-Super 95 petrol hit 1,347 euro per 1,000 liters in 27 EU countries last week (May 31-24). The price is 6 euro more than the average for the previous week.

Data on fuel prices are posted on the official Web site of the European Commission.

The highest price - 1,495 euro per 1,000 liters - was observed in the Netherlands. This figure increased by 8 euro and amounted to 1,495 per 1,000 liters.  The lowest price was 1,014 euro per 1,000 liters in Cyprus.

Greece took second place in the list of countries with the most expensive Euro-Super 95. The price hit 1,493 euro per 1,000 liters, which is 27 euro less than a week earlier.

Denmark took third place for most expensive petrol. The price hit 1,455 euro per 1,000 liters, which is 30 euro more than a week earlier.

Finland occupied the fourth place in the list of countries with the most expensive Euro-Super 95. The price hit 1,426 euro per 1,000 liters. The cost of Euro-super 95 in the country increased by 14 euro.

Germany took the fifth place in the list of countries with the most expensive Euro-Super 95. The price hit 1,420 euro per 1,000 liters or 47 euro more than the last week.

The average price on Euro-Super 95 petrol hit 1,411 euro per 1,000 liters in Belgium. The price decreased by 52 euro per 1,000 from the previous week.

Great Britain took the seventh place in the list of countries with the most expensive Euro-Super 95. The amounted to 1,396 euro per 1,000 liters compared to 1,393 in the previous week.

The average price on Euro-Super 95 petrol hit 1, 374 euro per 1,000 liters in Portugal. The price decreased by 95 euro per 1,000 from the previous week.

The price in Italy hits 1,359 euro per 1,000 liters compared to 1,372 euro per 1,000 liters a week earlier.

France took the tenth place in the list of countries with the most expensive Euro-Super 95. The price hit 1,346 euro per 1,000 liters compared to 1,368 euro a week earlier.
