Iran to increase jet fuel production by late 2010

By the end of this year, Iran will increase the production of aviation fuel up to 5  million liters per day, chief engineer of Esfahan Refinery Ali Dahganian, İLNA agency reported.

He said that at this time Iran produces 1.3 million liters of jet fuel. This figure will increase up to 5 million liters per day by realizing the project on development of Esfahan Oil Refinery.

He said that today 70 percent of the work to modernize the plant has been held. Technological area of the plant for the production of jet fuel will be commissioned by the end of the year. Iran uses 4 million liters of jet fuel per day.
